This is CCB number 4, and gee Blues dancing in Australia has grown up a bit since the first CCB in 2006. And this year, to keep it fresh, CCB has had a total revamp. There are bucket loads of changes, introduced to suit the current blues scene, and we've kept all the great stuff that makes CCB the wonderful and unique dance experience that it is

CHURCH CITY BLUES GOES GREEN
This year at CCB we are trying to make our event as environmentally sustainable as possible. While most of it is bringing your awareness to how to minimise your impact on the globe, we are taking a few steps ourselves, including. . .
*Tees printed on Organic Cotton Fair Trade Tees using enviro-friendly dyes
*Spending the usual flyer budget on having trees planted in the Daintree rainforest
*Paying for the carbon offset of your flights

WHAT'S NEW?
*2 live bands (Friday and Saturday Night) including Sweet Baby James & Rob Eyers
*Saturday and Sunday Classes hosted by the invite teachers
*Dancing 'til well after 3.30pm every night at. . .
*. . . a dedicated after party venue offering a trad room and an eclectic blues room
*A move from Nth Adelaide into the city.

*The Colonel Light Hotel is back and so is The Bill Parton Trio
*Josh & Noni's weird and wonderful classes experimenting with rapport and new blues techniques
*The great Optional classes prior to the Friday and Saturday Dances
*About 20 Invite teachers and Teachers from around the country
*A Late start to classes (12:30pm) both Sat and Sunday
*Miss Etoile Marley throwin' down some 'jing. . jingle yo keyz
*BRING A GENT, SAVE 10% (on both your passes when booked and paid prior to August 15th). Last year we had 48% leads over 140 peeps. . pretty impressive!
